CPU Information

The following information about each processor in the system is available in this window. This information may vary depending on device type.

  • Operational Status (icon) indicates the current status of element.

    The following values are possible:

    • Unknown

    • Informational

    • Normal

    • Degraded

    • Critical

  • Processor ID - An arbitrary string that uniquely identifies the processor chip.

  • Processor Description displays the description of the processor.

  • Cores - The number of processor cores available for the processor. This number would not include cores disabled by hardware.

  • Slot lists the number of the slot where the processor is installed. Use this information for identification purposes.

  • Socket displays the currently selected processor’s socket. Use this information for identification purposes.

  • Max Hardware Threads specifies the number of hardware threads available for the processor.

  • Actual # Hardware Threads specifies the actual number of hardware threads.

  • Status - The status of the processor.

  • Step displays the revision level of the processor.

Cache Memory

This section displays the following information about the Cache Memory

  • Description shows the Processor, Core, Type of Cache information.

  • Size displays the size of the cache memory.
