MLNX_OFED has transitioned to DOCA-Host and is now available as DOCA-OFED. The last standalone release of MLNX_OFED is version 24.10-xxxx. Moving forward, all new features will be introduced in DOCA-OFED. It is an equivalent package of MLNX_OFED, providing the same functionality as MLNX_OFED and including the same kernel drivers, user space libraries, and management tools for Nvidia networking products. Users are encouraged to switch to DOCA-OFED as soon as possible to fully leverage the capabilities of NVIDIA network adapters.
Subscribe your system to the DOCA_OFED repository

into /etc/yum.repos.d/DOCA_OFED.repo on your system:

Important Notes:
1) Version 3.5.0 corresponds to the DOCA OFED package, while the base mlx5 driver version is 26.07-0.7.7.
2) Starting DOCA OFED version 2.10.0, ConnectX-4 adapter cards family is no longer supported.
3) DOCA OFED 3.5.0 is compatible with the following adapter firmware:

Installing DOCA_OFED packages
Once you are subscribed to the repository, follow the instructions below to install packages from the DOCA_OFED Repository. For the current list of supported OS versions and kernel versions, see the above table.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux / Rocky Linux
Prerequisites:
Make sure that the distro InfiniBand drivers are not installed on your system since these RPMs will conflict with DOCA OFED RPMs. If you have setup a repository for your RHEL/ROCKY RPMs, please execute the following command to uninstall distro InfiniBand RPMs.
# dnf group remove "infiniband support"
Note: Install python3 as a prerequisite.
Installation:
Once you are subscribed to the DOCA_OFED repository, execute the following command to install DOCA OFED (the same command applies to every supported RHEL and Rocky version):
# dnf install hpe-doca-ofed
Note: To load the new driver modules, either run the following command or reboot the server after DOCA OFED installation.
# /etc/init.d/openibd restart
Uninstallation:
In case all the DOCA OFED RPMs need to be uninstalled, execute the following command:
# ofed_uninstall.sh --force
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
Prerequisites:
Make sure that the distro InfiniBand drivers are not installed on your system since these RPMs will conflict with DOCA OFED RPMs. If you have already selected these packages during Operating System Installation, please remove all packages from the pattern "InfiniBand (OFED)" using yast2. Note: Since the removal of a pattern is not supported through "zypper", you may have to use the "yast2" GUI to uninstall all RPMs under the "InfiniBand (OFED)" pattern.
Note: Install python3 as a prerequisite.
Installation:
Once you are subscribed to the DOCA_OFED repository, execute the following command to install DOCA OFED (the same command applies to every supported SLES version):
# zypper install hpe-doca-ofed
Note: To load the new driver modules, either run the following command or reboot the server after DOCA OFED installation.
# /etc/init.d/openibd restart
Uninstallation:
In case all the DOCA OFED RPMs need to be uninstalled, execute the following command:
